I was born and raised in Orlando, FL. Having played sports all my life and serving in the Unites States Marine Corps, I felt the only way to go in life would be pursuing a dream of owning a business and what better way than owning my own CrossFit Gym. After discovering CrossFit in 2014 it was a no brainer for me as to what I wanted to do. As the owner of CrossFit Junkies I love the idea of being able to help people of all ages and ability levels reach their fitness goals.
Liz is a Certified CrossFit Level 1 Trainer and has been doing CrossFit since 2013. Liz was born and raised in Michigan. Liz loves CrossFit’s ability to push yourself and others beyond any limits imaginable, the bond formed with those enduring the same conditions, and the incredible sense of accomplishment when the workout is through. With a passion for CrossFit and teaching, Liz shares her love for fitness with others but is also lucky enough to share smiles, growth, struggles, high fives, PR’s, and sense of accomplishment with all CrossFit Junkies
I’m coach Hannah and currently attending college at the University of Central Florida. On top of being a student, I also have a huge passion for health & fitness. Having started CrossFit when I was a kid, I love to give back by educating and coaching our junkie kids!
I was always in physically activities, such as Basketball, Volleyball and Flag Football back in Elementary through High School. I’ve tried a few global gym route but never knew exactly what to do and was just bored, I needed and wanted something more. I found Crossfit in 2014 and was immediately addicted. What I love about CrossFit is the Community, competitive and the diverse of workouts.
I currently study biotechnology but my passion is in health and wellness. Fitness has always been a big part of my life. I wrestled since I was in 3rd grade up until high school where I started playing football. But besides sports, my life has always revolved around physical activity, from helping my dad out at the store to skating around with friends, fitness was something that came naturally to me. I soon realized that health and fitness are two different things, yet they go hand in hand. I began to focus more on health, exploring various modalities to optimize the human body. Through this, I achieved new levels of performance, and this quickly snowballed into somewhat of an obsession. From CrossFit to weightlifting to yoga I began to learn so much and soon realized there was a wealth of knowledge that I’ve acquired through training and competing. Exploring my body and mind is something that I find deep passion in. My goal is to help others unlock their potential. What's the point in having a body if you can’t use it?
Devan is an Occupational Therapist by day, crossfitter by night. She joined Crossfit in 2015 initially to make friends as she moved to FL from New Hampshire. She was instantly addicted to the fitness, self-empowerment, and community it offered. Growing up as a swimmer most of her life and through college, fitness ran in her blood so joining Crossfit was a natural choice. For one hour a day, people can remove themselves from the daily stresses of life and immerse themselves into feeling better both physically and mentally. As a CrossFit Level-1 Trainer, she looks forward to sharing the knowledge and passion she has into helping each person at CrossFit Junkies to achieve their personal goals or to just have fun!
Janel started CrossFit in 2018 as a new mom with no real athletic experience. She was uncomfortable in her own skin and had a hard time finding the energy to keep up with a toddler. CrossFit changed her life for the better by teaching her how simple it can be, to feel healthy on the inside and out. Janel loves the daily challenge to get outside of her comfort that CrossFit brings and how it pushes her to be better every day. She now wishes to share her experience with others by guiding them along their fitness and health journey.
I officially started Crossfit 2018. I focused and with the help of the coaches I fell more and more in love with crossfit and weightlifting. I then decided to do with others what my coaches did with me, teach. Being of service to others is one of my passions and helping other acheive their goals is an amazing feeling and I can't wait to continue in this journey of coaching and learning.
